Can other electronics hurt the PSP or other LCD screens?

Can leaving my DS or PSP next to say other electronics, a DVD player, other consoles, a laptop, or a SDTV(Tube not an LCD/Plasma)?

I want to make sure I avoid dead pixels, that is my main worry. So can other eletronics cause them? I am mostly worried about my TV because it is a 27 inch SDTV tube television, not flat pannel HDTV... so can it hurt my PSP if I store it in the desk drawer under my TV?

I keep mine in my desk 3 feet from my tv, 2 feet from my computer, and 2 feet from my tower, and I don't have any dead pixels or problems...

Mine is less then a foot away from the bottom of my TV. It is under it, in a desk under the the TV
