psp issue

i put new body case on my psp and im left over with 2 parts
a metal line about size of screen
and a little plastic shape almost a box but i side complete
a spring
also my dpad dosnt work and feels realy loose any help plz

also umd dott wont stay shut

You mean the home bar? The thing the buttons rest on?

na i got all the chips and every thing its a metal bar has letter f2 on it

Can you try and find some pics off of google possibly?

Oh you're dealing with a slim I see, I've never taken apart a slim.

I'm not sure then, try taking it apart, and seeing where it could go.

i did i got a sick body case just my umd wont lock and also my dpad is weak and moving every thing else works fine

I'l hazard a guess the bit with the spring is to do with the UMD and the other the Dpad. You've pretty much diagnosed it yourself there

ok well i got every thing working and into place i tested every thing but when i push select on my psp in xmb my psp freezes which never did that also L butten is stuck, as in its like its alwas held onto even when im not toching it

Reflash your firmware to get the select button fixed.

And only way to fix L is to get back inside and make sure it's all right.

yea hell flasher isnt working lol and i sold my phat lol im screwed

when ever i hold the psp a bit tight it shows a weird color on the lcd itk cause my screens not tight enough or not but its pissing me off im bout to smash this thing i switched to new casing flawlessly and was very carfull yet it gets messed up my luck
