Very nice. What parts did you use? (0603 LEDs?)

I'm doing the same thing with mine, I'm doing two colors (Purple/Green) and making a switch for them to switch the color ;D

nah, for now i'm fine with just simple sound reactive flicky flickin AMAZINGLY blue led's (^_^) it works as a flash light too (^_^) also the wire i used was from a gamecube controller it's 30 gauge but its "stranded" wire, a bunch of tiny ass wires that go all over the place and make my life difficult,..... but i still managed, and i've still dropped my psp several times... while it was on... and led's stayed on... so i can only figure that i did a damn good job.... this was also my VERY FIRST experience soldering you can call me a dumbass since my very first contact EVER with a soldering iron was on the psp speaker :P:P i quickly learned that i nead to hold the speaker down cuz IT'S A DAMN MAGNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahah

Lol wow great job using 30awg wire on a surface mount led

But you should invest in some 20awg wire if you gonna do more mod's (so much easier)

considering it was my first job, for me.. yeah it was a little hard... i had already taken it apart and put it all back together several times.. so i had that part down... just the soldering.. all that hot lava metal on the iron trying to put it on a wire and a REALLY SUPER MEGA TINY LED (^_^) when i first got the led's in the mail i honestly thought i'd been tricked... i was like.. WTF is this little tiny thing... lol.. also my first time dealing with led's :P:P ahahahahahahahaha

next i'm gonna do a God of War slim (^_^) hopefully i'll be successful (^_^)

Do these LED mods consume any battery-life from the PSP battery? If so then it's pretty worthless then, and if they run off their own batteries then wouldn't that need to be replaced every so often?

Sorry have never done LED mods(or any mods for that matter) so I was just curious.
    i am an idiot.

Sound reactive Leds are hardwired directly to the speakers, which are wired to the mobo -> Power supply. Worthless is just an opinion, many people like the sound reactive LED mods.
