Gaming Generations is based in Wisconsin, USA, meaning you don't have to ship from China

If you live in the States, yeah that's a quicker delivery. Mine came from China and it took a few weeks to reach England, and from USA it'll take as long too probably.

Well, Gaming Generations is a small company with two store in Wisconsin, USA. They will ship to you a LOT faster than if you were to get it from China. It took me a month to get my stuff from DealExtreme. . .

Yeah, I'm not stupid, I've heard of Ebay. I didn't know DealExtreme was in china though, I was gonna buy my housing from there. Also, can anyone direct me to a guide or video on how to replace the housing, I'm sure I could do it on my own but I just don't wanna take the risk. lol

http://acidmods.com/forum/index.php?...&topic=18858.0 will do, with some Youtube vids make sure you watch whatever psp model yours is. Note: this is for the slim. It doesn't tell you about the super-tight screws X(

And BTW, Is there anywhere else I can get a housing because GamingGenerations housings are like 30 dollars and DealExtreme's housings are only 17 dollars but like you said, pspboy2111, it takes forever to get shipped.

Then you'll have to decide which is better, quick delivery or value. Can you wait? I'm still happy with my deal

Yeah, I'm still gonna order it from DealExtreme. Plus, I don't think GamingGenerations housings come with the analog stick. Even if they do I'm still going with DealExtreme. Do housings come with the clear plastic thing in front of the LCD or do you have to get that separate?

Uh, the ones from DealExtreme I do not believe come with analog sticks either. And don't complain to me if your DealExtreme case comes a month after you order it, doesn't fit right to begin with, and it's bent. Mine was. >_>

The ones from GamingGenerations are XCM cases = high quality. They'll even install it for you, if you want (for a price, of course.)

Anyway, for taking apart the PSP, I *highly recommend* going into your local Sears store and getting a Craftsman Philips #000 Precision Screwdriver (It's black and blue.) I can take out the 'super tight' screws no problem with that, it's amazing. It even took out a stripped screw that I had on my Phat PSP! I was so happy lol.

I haven't got a 3000 so i cant be totally sure, and I didn't buy from dealextreme. Mine came with everything except the tools. I wish I had that screwdriver though, I had to melt through my old case to get the power input out, and broke off half the yellow ring from it after all! Fits solid enough. But the top screws can't be completely tightened so I think some screw filing is in order to complete mine. Got a small tool collection. :|
