hey. by accident dropped my psp 3001. The battery cover broke (plastic latches snapped --both of them).

is there a official ordering network with sony for parts? or a aftermarket place? thx =)

You can get a replacement battery cover at DealExtreme

I think the battery covers are the same for the 2000 and 3000, but I'm not sure about that one.

    Hello _,

Thank you for writing us in regard to your PSP(R) portable entertainment system. If you have not done so, may we recommend checking with your local game or electronic retail store for this item. Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) does not directly sale replacement items for the Playstation family of products. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.

How do I order a new battery cover for a PSP-3001? The color is black not silver. The original plastic battery cover was broken by accident.
fyi no parts from them I guess. I'll have to order one of those aftermarket ones. I'll let you know how it works out.
