Hello, i have a problem with my psp that if there is pressure around the screen like between slight-moderate the psp turns off and i have to turn it on again? is this a problem with the screen? also the d-pad right button seems to be stuck in place... P.S. the backlight connector for the screen is taped down because the hinge broke.... (dont know if it matters) any info?

Hmm...Paging Captain Obvious, your services are needed...

...You're shorting your psp out due to your inept attempts at repairing it. How do I know? "the backlight connector is broken and fixed with tape" and "the right side is jammed"...

Simple solution - Take your PSP apart, feeling for what's tight while you're doing it... If your fingers have any nerve endings in them, you'll be able to figure out what's binding. Now, I find it important to mention, that the fact that you FIXED YOUR BACKLIGHT WITH TAPE is more than likely the culprit...It's a CCFL, not an LED - the dielectric breakdown value of most tape is sufficiently low in this situation that you're close enough to shorting to begin with, let alone the decreased mean path length caused by even the slightest pressure...

....In short, when probing potential HARDWARE issues, it never hurts to do your howmework first...This is the equivalent of saying "I raped (literally) my psp last night, why are the buttons sticky?"
If you see me running, try to keep up.
