PSP 1001 will not Power On

Hey guys,
I know usually when you hit the power toggle and it flashes green for a second and then doesnt power on, then you usually have a brick. With mine, I upgraded to the latest custom firmware about two weeks ago and everything is fine. Two days ago I set it up to charge, leave it there (I notice the green power light is on indicating its at full charge), come back today to unplug it from the charger. No green power light, but the power adapter is extremely hot. So now when I hit the power switch with or without it plugged in, no power light comes on at all, no flicker of green, no amber, nothing. So do you think a transformer in the power adapter died or I smoked the battery?

I'm not sure, could be. Try'd it with another battery/adapter?

yea try ask a friend for his charger or battery and see if it works still

did you open up your battery and removed any pins then used it to mod? If so you could have fried your battery...
