PSP camera

I know there's going to be a new camera accessory coming out for the PSP. What I wanna know is when and how much will it cost? Can someone send me some pictures and some info? Thanks in advance.

We thiink it will cost about $50 US...I think. It is somewhere around there. It will come out in September of this year. Search for a thread on THIS forum and there are pictures.

Sony has released details on the PSP Digital Camera. It will be a 1.3 mega pixel camera, that attaches to the top center of the PSP, in other words to the mini USB port. The camera will first be released in Japan during Fall of 2006.

Just in case you are wondering 1.3 MP is around 1280 x 960 pixels on the web or 5" x 7" printed. That is extremely low considering the camera standards are now 3 MP+, maybe even more. At the end itâÃÆ ’¢â€šÃâ €šÃ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â ¡Ã‚¬Ã…¾Ã‚¢s up to you whether you will be shelling out money for the PSP Camera.

to me that looks cheap and not right. I really doubt that will be what it looks like. Is that an official sony picture? Probably not, seeing as it doesent have any logos or anything on it. When sony releases the camera, I think it will better fit the psp's apperance, being black or white. and somewhere having the sony logo on it. But hey thtas just my opinion.

if you look better in the first picture is 1 type of camera in the second is a different camera, maybe there is an universal camera to buy...

or maybe noone knows what it will look like, and stop making fake pictures. I bet you it wont look anything like that when it comes out. Why would sony put it on a small base thing like that, hiding some of the screen. It will be black or white, depends and bigger. And also more than 2mp, I hope!

If you look in that picture it has the psp logo engraved into it, but I also agree that the huge white thing looks stupid. and 1.2 mp is extremly low...

i dunnooooo im expecting something cheesy. nothing like 4mp or anything like that. something like a shitty phone camera. for something like 50$ its gonna be like 2mp.

2 mp for a psp, sounds pretty nice to me though.
