Raped my L button

Yeap...as the title says.
I had to open my psp 2001 to mess with the contact pad like thing for the D-pad because it would constantly screw up because of the pressure of the case.
So I moved the contact sticker/pad thing a bit..and the ribbon broke that leads up to the L button........

so..any advice? im afraid to unscrew that black screw that seems to hold the L button in place. any videos?

Keep your pants zipped when you open your psp case. Seriously though, you gotta keep light pressure on the psp when you open it, because you gotta remember, they used smaller parts in the redesign.

Also 2k parts are the most expensive. Just ask the guy who destroyed his screen on accident and has to pay 2 times the amount of a 1k or a 3k screen. Expect to pay more for a 2k ribbon than any other type of ribbon. This is all because the 2k's had the shortest shelf life.

I take it as a rarity issue? Being that the 2k wasn't left on the market for too awful long, it's hard to deal with due to demand?

man that sucks bro, gonna try to fix it or just buy a new or used psp?

At this point, I hope a local store can just fix it...It might be difficult to find one here and I don't really feel like shipping it anywhere...

It might take a while for me to fix this by myself...if i dont even up breaking it even more........
