Hey guys, I'm getting a new shell for my 2000 model, but i only have one concern. I've read in youtube comments that some people's lcd screens stop working after everything is put back together. Will this happen to me? and what pre cautions should i take?

I plan on doing a housing replacement on my 1000. I will be buying a shell soon.
Yes take your time. Dont forget to plug everything in too and you'll be fine. Usually housings require a bit of dremmeling to fit just right, none of them are perfect.
the black part is the release switch
