It's been a while since I've been around (old PSP broke beyond repair when connectors snapped off the motherboard), but I'm back with a new PSP-1001 (already hacked with CFW v5.50-GEN3, and IRShell when I need it for use as a TV remote), and I want to restart the old project that I never got around to of running EL wire throughout the parts of the faceplate that aren't business-related (EG the buttons and the screen).
Anyway, I have been doing research on the different faceplates available, and I've noticed that a lot of them require fitting (sanding, etc.) to seat properly. I'd like to know (from people with first-hand experience, preferably) who made the custom face plate you're using, and where you got it from. Thanks for the help.
