Okay, I have an old psp 1k. When I try to turn it on a green light comes up. That's it,. I swaped the power cables, I've tried turning it on with the cables in, and I've even tried taking the battery out and turning it on with the cord in without the battery. I called sony, they said they'll repair it for $90. Thanks, but no. I also have a psp 3k running 6.31 and since it is not hackable I figured that if I get the psp 1k working it'd be a good mod machine. Please help? Thanks.

I find it quite funny that sony wants to charge 90 bucks for an easy and inexpensive fix. I actually bought my psp1001 on craigslist for 50 and it works great... other than it has OFW on it ....just another way for sony to scam people out of money
