Prometheus not working on fat PSP?

I'm trying to decrypt some new Japanese ISOs I've received recently, and I was told to update to 5.00 m33-6 and install Prometheus-4 on it. It said it installed successfully, but upon checking the System Information, the system still says "5.00 M33-6"; I saw from a topic that Prometheus-3 is for M33-6 and Prometheus-4 is for GEN, so a few questions...

1. Is that true for the Prometheus versions?
2. If so, exactly which one do I use?
3. Is there any way to get rid of the Prometheus-4 files on my PSP ><;?

I have a PSP Phat 1000 by the way, if that matters.

If I were you, try out 5.50 GEN-D3 with the Prometheus-4 add-on. It worked perfectly for me, and the games are sure to work. I've been playing the latest Monster Hunter and Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's perfectly fine. Didn't even need to use ISOTool. If you like 5.00 M33-6; an alternate method is the oldskool ISOTool patching method.
