PSP Go with a phone motherboard?

So I am just wondering if anyone had this idea before
and if yes if anyone has tried it

So I have an Xperia X10 phone
and PSP Go

Now the screens are almost identical in size.
And the motherboards i can't see being too much different in size.
I wonder if its possible to put the Xperia Motherboard in the psp and
the xperia touch screen in the psp and see how it works.

That would probably be an incredible amount of work which has a very high probability of not working.

Bet you $500 you can't do it. The size of the phone screen doesn't mean it will work the fuses and chips make the hardware not just a screen.

No no I know what you mean with the fuses. But I am not connecting the touch screen to the psp.
I am just using the psp case to hold the motherboard of the phone and the phone screen.
I am in computer engineering myself so know a bit about circuit and fuses and amps etc. But I don't see why not, the only issue I can find is I will need longer cables to connect circuitry from the screen to the board and a place to fit the battery.

While it probably is pointless, if anyone was ever to pull it off it would be very cool in the sense that someone made it work.
