    Hi guys,

My cousin messed up his PSP, but as he's little and I don't know what he did with the PSP, I'm not sure on what the problem really is... From what I've investigated, it's bricked, but unfortunately I read that there's not a fix for The 3xxx PSPs, is that correct ?

Ok, here's the problem.. The PSP seems to power on when you turn it on (as the power led goes green), but the screen stays black. No sound is made, and it then turns off after some seconds. If I connect the charger with the battery on, it shows the power led orange, so it seems it's charging the battery too. But won't turn on with the cable either.
Can you guys point me on the right direction on what the problem is, and how can I solvei t ? (I've read something about a Pandora battery and a memory stick, but not sure if it works for this model).

    The PSP model is: PSP-3010
    The battery model is: PSP-S110

I hope you guys can help me.

    Regards,
    Federico.-

Sounds like its bricked and because of the fact that its a 3000, basically means that there is no way of recovering it.

    EDIT: Just to make sure it has nothing to do with the flash1, try this;

    1. Power off your PSP
    2. Hold down "Select" "Start" "Square" "Triangle" at the same time while you power up your PSP
    3. If it works, then your back in business, if it dont work, then its a perma brick

    Hi,

Thanks for helping. I've already tried what you've said on the step 2 (saw it on a YouTube video), but it hasn't worked..
That means that the PSP is bricked and can't be repaired ? Not even by changing some parts of inside ?

And if anything can be done, then I guess that it would be recommendable to sell the PSP parts for someone that needs repair parts? And if that's the case, which is the part I can't sell because it's screwed, the mainboard ?

    Regards,
    Federico.-

Actually, if you can find a cheap motherboard on ebay, you can just replace that and you'll be up and running again

Mine is a PSP 3000...My problem with my PSP is that it will not turn on when its not use over night. I play all but when I go to sleep and tomorrow it will not turn on. It will take me a lot of time everyday just to turn on my PSP. this happens everyday.

    PROBLEM

    * PSP will not turn on, but when plug to AC charger orange light will turn on, but still the PSP will not boot. Later the orange light will turn off.
then if it will reboot after repeating switching the switch with AC adaptor and w/o the battery. The battery will not be recognize.

    * Sometimes I just be patient and keep switching the switch of my PSP and pressing other buttons until it will on..
