I was wondering, could this be possible? I have a PSP 1000 with a messed up analog stick and I don't have the patience to re-solder the contacts yet again, like the metal squares on the mobo have come up and off already and my hands just aren't that steady anymore, so what if I mounted the PSP in my computer case? I already have PSPdisp installed and I know how to hook the psp up as an extended display, what if I got a screen digitizer for like a Garmin Nuvi 760 and put it over the psp screen, found a USB interface compatible with the 4pin digitizer and make the psp a touch screen case mounted display? would that work? like, i've found the digitizer, i believe it'll fit the psp 1000 screen, but is there a usb interface that's compatible with the Garmin Nuvi screen digitizer? I just wanna see if this is plausible before i attempt it. I'm also still working on a way to turn the psp on and off (preferably put into sleep mode rather than turn off) when the computer turns on and off, i was thinking a momentary relay to turn it on but I'm stuck as to turning it off lol, i don't exactly want to push a button (i say A button because i currently have my computer to turn on and off with an ignition switch, 3 position, acc, off, momentary, where momentary makes the contact of the power button and turning the key back to acc turns on an external CPU power supply that turns on a car radio, yet another power supply that gives power to my audio amp, a few cold cathodes, random stuff, but all the key switch does is make momentary contact for the main comp's power button and turned back keeps full contact between the green and black wires on the separate power supplies. Normal relays would just keep the power contact on the PSP held down as if i was holding the power slider up at all times, which would obviously cause problems, so a momentary relay would work to turn it on, but a momentary relay wont make the connection again when power is lost, so it wont turn the psp off (or put it into sleep mode) when the computer is turned off, and still i have the problem of even getting the psp to be a touch screen, which would be nice but not necessarily necessary lmao.
Sorry if that was sloppy, I'm just trying to get the idea out before I forget any of it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
