psp 3001 unbrick

so, i have a decent amount of experience repairing PSP 1001 and 2001, however i have VERY little experience with the 3001. a friend of mine has brought me a psp 3001 and currently it is bricked. i have done a little bit of research and have discovered that a traditional pandora battery will not work for it. is there a way to unbrick the 3001?

well, did your friend have any cfw on the 3K? It is possible to unbrick a semi bricked 3k. Then again your psp must be on PRO or TN with perma patch.
Hold down R and boot the 3k and see if recovery menu comes up
