I have a psp 2000 slim that I got from a friend. He told me it is bricked, so I acquired a pandora battery and magic memory stick for this model from a friend who had them, and was about to get started when I noticed that the display will not cut on. I hear this is normal for bricked psp's, but I do not know what to do. I cannot get the psp to connect to my pc so that I can begin the process of Unbricking it. Please let me know if there is something else wrong. I have checked, and there is nothing wrong with the screen whatsoever, and the led light comes on and stays on. no sound comes from the system. Please HELP ME?

My psp screen must be truly broken then. It does not light up no matter what I do, and it's not just the backlight. The display is completely dead. That is why I wanted to connect it to a pc.
I wasn't sure if the display was dead, or if the screen not working was simply part of the bricked issue.
