PSP 3000 battery issues!!

Guys im currently using a PSP 3000, which i bought around a month back.. Everything is working fine with it, except the battery! with the battery completely charged im getting just an hour of gameplay. It takes around 1.5 hours approx for the battery to charge, but the battery just wont work out more than an hour. Initially i went to the vendor and got the psp replaced with a new one, but the im facing the same problem with the new gadget as well!! Can anyone tell me whats the issue with it? and any solution if any?

I'll post first. I don't neccessarilly know the answer to your problem, but I can say I think your psp battery is about to de. You should buy another one and replace the one you have now with the new ine and see if it helps. can you help me now? my psp wont turn on whatsoever. not even a green light. any help given is greatly aprreciatded.
