PSP not starting without a Pandora battery

My PSP bricked so i got a pandora battery. I created a Magic Memory Stick using Rain's MMS maker. I was able to turn on my psp and install the 5.00 CFW but my psp does not do anything when I plug in my regular battery. The green light turns on for a second and then PSP turns off. When I plug in the pandora battery I can get into the psp and go through the menus so I am not sure what is happening. Please help!

try to use your regular battery to other psp and if it fails to boot then your battery is now dead

try this.
remove any battery inserted in the psp and plug in the ac adaptor only and try to boot up the psp. let me know what happened.

I have just bought a new battery and have tried turning it on without a battery. Nothing works.

Format the memory stick and try to remake your MMS. What kind of PSP do you have?

I have a PSP 1000. I have already remade the MMS a couple of times. I haven't made a memory stick with 1.50 on it yet though. Think it will work.

Is your battery a pandoras?

EDIT: Remove the MMS and try without any memory stick inserted
