so here's the deal, i ordered a pandora battery and a sony magicgate memory stick pro duo 2gb and used rains mms maker on the memory stick so i could unbrick my full brick psp 1001, but i guess its just not workin..
I followed a guide for it too. I inserted the mms, held down the left trigger, and inserted the pandora battery but all i got was a screen that didnt light up and a green power led light. can someone help please?
if its them memory stick, which i highly doubt it is, from the telltale signs i saw in the guide to unbricking my psp, i do have another 2 gig sony magicgate memory stick pro duo and a 32mb (whereabouts currently unknown)

i think u should have bought the 8 G memory stick pro duo because it works just fine
    anyway
You need to update your PSP, this will require a card your PSP recognises, you should have been supplied with a card when you bought your PSP, the 4GB and 8GB cards are only supported by newer updates. Download the update from the playstation website and then try using your 1GB Card, Also try formatting your memory card again...

and one other thing it may be a fake memory...see this video ...SONY MEMORY STICK PRO DUO WARNING 16GB 32GB - YouTube and this one too
Fake 4GB Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo from Ebay - YouTube

if u r sure its not fake

i will search for more info. and reply u again

Getting an 8 gig wont do crap. And I tried formating it numerous time in fat32, and fat. A main problem im having making the mms now is lack of sectors for injecting the ipl. Would formatting it as exFat help, anyone?
