Last week I changed the housing on my PSP, again, in the hope of getting a better fit. The screen was a mess and so I even had to transplant my old lesser scratched screen from faceplate to faceplate (the plastic screen cover). Anyway now the black switch on the mobo that works the umd drive isn't being pressed/pressed correctly my the umd door because it does work if I push it with a screwdriver. I've tried the door that worked before and that is not working now either and the plastic moulding looks pretty much identical to my new one.
So its either the housing has put the mobo too far forward to reach or the switch is being awkward now. Thats what I've come up with. Any suggestions on what it could be and solutions please? I'm think a mod to the door e.g. stick on a bit of plastic may help to reach the switch. If you know how the switch works or have been through this before and fixed it I would appreciate your input.
