I actually believe that all of the adapters are fake nowadays. Just cross your fingers and hope that it works properly.

I'm sure they're all fake. My PSP was stolen along with the adapter inside it and I've bought five new adapters.

Read the reviews. It works. I've also bought this. The only thing I don't like is the 17-31 days shipping. I ordered it 2 days ago so I still have to wait for mine but it's only $2. So if it doesn't work, big whoop. I've bought 2 16gb micro sd cards so I lose more money, but you can buy a 2gb one to make sure at first. Or wait for me to get it and I'll let you know if it works, but then you'll have to wait another 3-4 weeks to get yours after I get mine.
