having trouble putting in my LCD Screen

I took it out since it was messing up a bit to see if there was any way to salvage it. So I try to put it back in after watching a tutorial. I have the small connector for the screen securly in place with the latch closed, however I am having trouble putting the thicker one back in...I'm not sure were to stick it EXACTLY. anyone have a close up video of one being re-attached?


Edit: I just had to nudge it in a little harder with my screwdriver. the problem is actually worse now.

first I had some blue red and green lines going horizontally across the bottom of my screen.

Now the whole screen is dead except for a small portion on the bottom...

Should I buy a new screen? or do I need a new psp/get my old one repaired.
