    Ok,

So I have a PSP that is stuck on the setup screen. The "X" button fails to work.

I have stripped it down and gave it a good clean but still did not resolve.

I tried to manually press the sensor under the actuall rubber buttons but this didn't work either

Any suggestions would be great. Also tried factory reset but due to action buttons not working, this wouldn't work either

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Brothertse2008

Did you check the ribbon connection end to the PCB board? It could be miss aligned and causing the faulty action button problem.

If its align properly then you most likely the flex cable went bad. It should be cheap to find a replacement off of ebay or amazon or on wish.
