Right well, I have been using a 2gb sony memory stick pro duo high speed for a while now but just recently I cannot put songs from windows media player onto the memory stick; it says that it no longer reads a device. So I reformatted it but it comes up with an error message saying that it cannot be formatted, I have searched on forums etc for advice but they all say that the memory stick must be a fake but I have used it for ages and the computer reads it fine so any advice?

everyone, I have overcome this problem by digging out my old 32 mb memory stick and copied all the files and folders onto my 2gb which I formatted with the computer, more importantly, before all this I could not put a lot of music onto it but now all the files that could not not can :-)

Yea, a 32MB MS can usually hold about 4-6 songs, depends on the size ofcourse.

I'll let this double post slide psymon since your double post was about a week from your previous post. But don't let it happen again please.

Formatting the mem stick with your PSP should keep this from happening.
