Ok I have used the easy 2.71 downgrade from this site to ver 1.5…… works fine in 1.5 now

What do I need now I have an umd film that says I need to upgrade to a higher version (update system software) is this different worked previously can I simulate up to higher versions so the film will play?

I also have 3 downloaded games iso and cso what do need to play them

Can someone please help

Ok so if i run your suggestion i will be able to play ISO/CSO backed up games and all the latest films? via Disc and 4gb memory card

can you tell me where i copy the ISO to or do i unzip first and copy n paste but where too?


i have a program for converting DVD`s and Avi etc and i know where they go but not to sure where to put the game files

hey bro just install 3.03 oe-b costum firmware and try installing using the easy inastaller and the easy installer will amke folder on your memory stick each folder is for something example it creates an iso folder for the iso and cso files it creates a folder for 1.50 eboots and ....... so just upgrade to 3.03 oe-b costum firmware and u will have absolutely no problems with ur psp

yep 3.03OE-A(or the more recentB) has all the advantages of 1.5 firmware, coupled with all the extras of the most recent sony firmware, 3.03.. enjoy..

Hey there I actually downgraded from 2.71 to 1.5 firmware with thanks to forum member PSP`s guides Easy 2.71 Downgrader first
Then ran Devhook v0.52 with 3.03 Firmware Emulation Tutorial!!! To run the newer stuff
