Hi I just installed on my PSP ver 2.70 to 2.71. Then downgraded to 1.5. Then installed 3.03 OE-C which is current.

I get the error above when trying to play iso file games. Also get the same when starting SNES9X TYL and sometimes just shuts off my PSP, this is installed in the GAME150 folder. ISO's are in the main ISO folder.

Am I missing some software or doing something incorrectly?

BTW just thought of something, I have a UMD movie in the slot (Friday the movie). Do I need to have a UMD game in there? I just heard it trying to rev up or something when I tried to restart the game?

Look bro for your game problems, always try a different folder (alternate is obviously GAME) if it still doesnt work then u are unable to play. PM me to see if it worked.

dante your a retard the 1.50 kernal is the GAME 1.50 which is where he has is homebrew, and it definately isnt gonna work in the game folder unless his default kernel is 1.50 (which i doubt because he just installed it) try reinstalling snes emulator. and put a game in the umd slot when you try playing iso's.

also, did you leave the settings in the recovery the same?

Hi thanks it was my fault I put a game in the umd and all my backup iso's work fine now. Plays better than through the umd disc in my opinion faster.

It's good to format your memory stick after upgrading. This can get rid of any homebrew problems you might have. When I upgraded from 1.5 to custom firmware none of my homebrew played I just had to format my stick.

what is the best way to recover to 1.5 from 3.03 oe-c? Only one of my iso's work, im not sure hot to compress to cso's - but i'm not sure why they dont work - either way i wanna recover to 1.5 then reinstall oe-c...has to be at a specific battery power right?

basically, you need a real UMD in there to make it work, may i ask where you got these isos? because it should work, and some games dont work, eg- GTA series

if you take some stuff out of them though, it depends i guess, ive had 3 different iso's and cso's, and only one worked (and then compressed it to a cso)

I'm having a similar problem, but for a different reason.

I'm running 3.03 OE-C, and all my homebrew works great.

My problem is, I just got a copy of NCAA 07. When the UMD loads, I get the "This game could not be started. (80020148)"

Anyone have any idea why? Anything I can do to make the game work?
