Need help with XMB cause im a Noob.

Yea to sum it up in a short storie I want to get the Halo XMB backround,icons....the whole package.But I just sucessfully got 3.03 OE-C and have no clue what I need to do and what I have to have.So can you guys fufill my last need and try to make this as easy as possible with some links hopefully.

p.s. i dont believe i saw a thread on this specific XMB but if theres one sry.

yea ive seen both of those but i dont know what do I need to have to put them on besides a 3.03 OE-C and even if i would know how to do that.Do i need the VSH folder if so where do i put it?I have theme pack 4 from psp-hacks and spectors pack from pspupdates also i have the VSH file on my comp if it is needed.UPDATE i tried X-flash But it said my 3.03 is not compatable why?

did you even read the link julie posted? do what teh quote says then go to resource and you should see it.

Turn off the PSP

Step 2
Holding down "R", turn your psp on..

Step 3
you should be in recovery mode... with a like teal screen... If you are, good job. Plug in your USB cable.

Step 4
Go to the FOURTH option (Advanced)

Step 5
Go to "Toggle USB flash 0"

Step 6
You should be able to access Flash0 through your computer as it were the memory card... you'll notice if you look at how large the drive is, its only 23.9 MB, and 23.8 is taken up!! holy shit !

p.s. it didnt com with a readme just the backround which is installed and 2 files called system_plugin_fg.rco and topmenu_plugin.rco thats all it came with.

I dont understand cause its not on this specific xmb i usually understand the readmes but im having trouble with this flash,system plugin and topmenu stuff.There must be something im missing cause all i have on my desktop is the Halo content pack by Sp3ct0r and nothing on my psp.

Alright here hopefully this will make it easier ill ask a couple of questions to see if im missing something.
1.What does XMB mean?
2.Do I need to download this VSH that justinisloco is talking about?
3.If so where do i put it?
4.Do i need X-fire to run it?
5.What are the two files in the content pack by sp3ct0r for?
6.Where do I put them?

now take out your battery now put it back in.
now hold down r button while turning on the power switch.
i am going to assume you have the package. (ok??)
now i want you to attach your psp to your computer with the usb cord (the same kind that comes with a digital camera)\
now i want you to go to where it sais advanced on that blue screen that should be up.
now i want you to press x on advanced
now i want you to got to where it sais toggle flash 0 now go to my computer
then click on removable disk
then i want you to find the resource folder on the removable disk. then go to vsh folder. then iwant you to drag and drop the files from the package into the vsh folder. it is going to ask you if you want to replace the files. say yes. then keep doing this with all the files intil your done. now exit recovery mode. ENJOY if you cant d it after all that then i dont know what to tell you

TURN OFF YOUR PSP, TURN IT ON HOLDING R, youll see a blue screen... follow the guides and instructions that we posted here and you should be good to go

yea i finally got it i didnt realize the recovery mode was on the psp lol i thought i had to download it and thats why i kept asking is there something that im missing but i got it now.thanx for all your help guys.
