AFKIM Won't connect.

Now I searched already, so put the charcoal away and Danzel's site failed to have any troubleshooting steps.

I loaded AFKIM 3 onto my 3.10 OE-A' and it loads up just fine. When attempting to connect to my WiFi it fails to connect. I tested the connection with the PSP Network Utility as well as connecting with my browser, so I know the PSP can connect properly. The only thing that I think could be throwing it off is my Wireless Encryption.

Anyone have any experiences with this?

What is AFKIM?

It's an (almost) universal Instant messenger. Kinda like meebo.com for the PSP. And I think I found the problem. Turns out that AFKIM doesn't like encryption.

I'll figure a way around it so I can keep my encryption up.

Cool, sorry i couldn't help you out, I won't be able to get my psp online for another month and a half. So i don't know anything about those apps...

your running 3.10 oe-a'?

put it in your GAME310 folder, see if it works for you like that.. with 3.03 oe-c, i had to put it in my GAME303 folder..

i use 303-C and i can connnect to an encrypted wireless network with afkim

I put it in my GAME150 folder, because that is what I have. It looks like the AFKIM doesn't actually have any provisions to adjust for an encrypted network. And it might matter what form is being used, either WEP or WPA.

no not GAME150....

GAME303 folder! i have a wep key wireless router, and my pspradio and AFKIM only works in GAME303... (or GAME310 for 3.10 oe-a)
