How to Install CW Cheats On You PSP

Hi I'm new here, well that doesnt matter. Anyway, I just followed your guide on installing the CW Cheat. I enable both in recovery mode, but I can't get the menu to pop up while playing my iso and psx games. I have 1.5 firmware with 3.03 OE C. Do I need Devhook because I've searched everywhere and most of them said something about using it with Devhook....

just place the iso in the ISO folder in the root.

You have 1.5/3.03 OE C WHY????????

Get 3.40 OE-A it is very good and has good psx compatiblity......

PSP ISO/CSOs go in the ISO folder that is in the root of your MS

PSX Eboots go in the PSP\GAME Folder

And not you don't need Devhook if you use 3.40

I just upgraded my firmware to 3.40 OE, but the menu still doesn't come up. I know where ISO and PSX Eboots go since I can play them perfectly. I enable both the cwcheat in recovery mode. I've been holding down the Select button during the games, but I dont see a menu coming up......am I doing anything wrong?

can you write a step by step of how YOU installed CWCHEATS...to see what YOU did wrong....

I followed your steps. Let's see:
Downloaded 14006_CWCHEAT_0_1_8.RAR
Open and copy the seplugins folder to the root of my PSP folder(where all the music, video folders are)
Went into recovery mode
Enable both cwcheats under plugins
exit and restart psp
Loaded several of my iSO and PS1 games also UMD game
press and hold Select button
Nothing Comes up.....

Well......You did everything right maybe You need to hold select a little bit longer

wow not that long

wait your recovery menu might be bad look at my SIg the one that says Your UMD DISK / ISO/CSO and make sure that your R Menu has the settings there

Also try one of the earlier versions

Other then that sorry but looks like no CWCHEATS for you.....

It's the same. I won't pop up.

I even tried switching the kernel from 1.50 to 3.40, oh well.

I understand why now CW Cheat won't pop up when I press the Select button. I have 2 Lexar memory stick pro duos. Lexar brand cards don't seem good for using plugins on the psp. Oh well, I'll wait till Scandisk or Sony brands go on sale.

You can goto Ebay and get a fake one............

I got a 2GB SONY HIGHSPEED *FAKE* $25 total and it works great

Just wanted to let you guys know that their is a new version out CW Cheat 1.8 RevC.

It is good they have gotten the site working and you can download the Cheat.db from that website directly from the psp........I check weekly and found new codes all the time. No bugs to report I wanted to test it for a while first and it looks GOOD.
