is there a .avi player out for the PSP

I was wondering if there is a .avi player out for the PSP, Or do I have to convert the .avi through PSPVIDEO9 ??

There is PSP Media Player. I have not used it, so I am not sure how well it works, but the description says it plays avi files. If you try it, let me know how easy it is to use and how well it works

Another one is PSPlayerMT. Again, never used it but it says it supports almost all video formats.
