After doing quite a bit of searching around on this forum I decided to call it quits and just post a new topic to ask my question. Is there any form of homebrew web browser that would be better than the one that comes with the psp. I can't stand it to be honest, i can never see or navigate around websites one it, i would love a better web browser especially one that would format down the pages to fit the psp screen. please let me know thanks.

Idk I have to say that eventually itl be improved to the point were u can actually browse the net and watch videos. They deffinatly have to make a bigger internal memory, they only give u i think 4mb and most of it is used from the get go. Just think bout when the internet browser first game out, there was a lot more limitations, at least now they got flash and stuff, so its like an effort.

The stock browser can scale or reformat the page to fit the screen. But it does lack some things, such as new flash support(youtube is incompatible for example).

the psp browser works for checking email, but what it needs to be able to do is work with a virtual cache file off the memory card, then atleast youd get a speed boost and maybe be able to use the memory card for resources in order to view sites such as youtube

I agree with all of you guys (gals?) especially lord_oth who started this thread. I was about to do the same thing as you. If anyone gets any news of a better browser (firefox anyone?) that can be used on the PSP, I would greatly appreciate it.
Pandora's Battery is a hoax. Sony started the rumor in an effort to make people ruin their own batteries and buy more from them.

If you believe this, copy and paste the above thought into your signature.

    dosnt irshell do that

tbh i dont really like irshell its to crumbersom so this sounds good but another firmware update

    :P

is there a way of using the file transfer systems adhoc, pc file browser, etc without irshell

I have PSP wifile transfer and its great but I prefer the XMB since I dont need irshell anymore for playing music and going on the web apparently anymore.
