Don't use Universal Remote aka Infared Remote. Download IR Remote 3.9 and if your running 3.90M33 then you'll need to get the patch too. If you download IR Remote then you can go to "Remotes" and just click on any. These remotes can be found on Wiki IR Remote. When you have access to this you can turn on brand named systems from your own home or anywhere else! Anymore questions? Just write a reply.
IR shell not remote

i use universal remote on my psp.... set your kernal to 1.50 kernal... see if that work
oh so that is what you have to do to get it to work is switch it to 1.50 kernel ok thanks jackspicer
what about slim users?
I dont think universal remote will work for slim... because slim psp dont have a inferred thingy... sony remove that from slim psp too make it lighter.

Hey I have a 3.80 m33 and my remote still not working and i did set it on 1.50 kernel
Please help me!

maybe this might help you guys... i have a phat running cfw 3.71m33 and was using the psp remote. i then updated to 4.01m33 and it stopped working. so what i did was d/led the 1.50 kernel addon for 4.01m33 and it started working again. still noobish at this modding thing, but i think you have to d/l the 1.5 kernel addon for your specific cfw to get it to work. i don't didn't even switch to 1.5 kernel and it still worked after adding the kernel. hope this helps
Umm, this is to the guy with the pandora post (dont buy one ever he said). I bought a psp tool battery converter for 30$ and have never had to buy anthor battery than the one that comes with it (i have a slim). I have hacked 3 psp's with it (3.65;3.95;3.92 or something). besides, asony bat costs more than a tool or most pandora batteries
