getting wifi on my psp? [circumstances inside...]

Hiya all!
Okay so here is my predicament: In a few days, my dad is getting a new computer, and he will be updating our wifi to only allow devices with 811N enabled. I do not believe this would allow my psp to connect. So, (I have a mac, if this impacts anything) I was wondering: Would it be possible for me to get a USB device to hook up to my laptop that would allow me to use wifi on my PSP (w/o plugging in my computer via an ethernet cable). (Note: allowing my psp to run wifi on the reuter significantly slows down the connection)

Edit: Does the psp slim have 811N capabilities?

you could also buy a USB wifi adapter and broadcast your own signal from your computer, and connect to it with your PSP
