Is there a way or a Homebrew that allows you to listen to MP3s and play UMD games at the same time?

There is a plugin, but all the ones I used really messed everything up.

But it looks like your on OFW, you need to get yourself on some CFW first

what did those plug-ins mess up?

Yeah, I am still in the deciding stages of going CFW.. dont know if its worth it for me to sacrifice a battery to do so. I am just reading and learning about all the things I can do with CFW.

there are very little games such as wipeout pulse which allow you to do this, it seaches the music directory on your memory stick and gives you the choice of what songs you want in a playlist, it doesnt lag and is quite good

aparently people have been having trouble getting this to work so idk if it will work for u....i could only get it to work during games, but thats really the only time i would want to use it anyways so im fine with that

    anyways here it is

    DOWNLOAD MUSIC PLUGIN HERE:

    http://dl.qj.net/Music-prx-plugin-for...

    MUSIC PLUGIN CONTROLS

    SELECT+L =Play and Pause
    SELECT+R =Playing SEQ
    (plays normal)& RAND (plays random)

    SELECT+right =next Track
    SELECT+quadrangle([]) = shows info
    SELECT+triangle = CPU MHz up
    SELECT+cross(X) = CPU MHz down

THE MUSIC PLUGIN this program can only read mp3 files that:
    -are decompressed (not compressed)
    -not converted

WHAT TO DO IF IT DOSE NOT WORK IN GAME:
IF it only works in vsh/xmb menu and not in game here is what you must do to make it work in games:
    1. go to usb mode
    2. open the seplugins file
    3. ad this line under the line(s) that are already there in the GAME.txt file:
    ms0:/seplugins/music.prx
    THEN SAVE THE TXT FILE!
    3. if you not have a game.txtthen make it and ad this line:

    ms0:/seplugins/music.prx

    4. exit usb mode and go to recovery mode to plugins
    5. enable al music.prx plugins
    6. go to your game pres select + L and listen to your music

WHAT TO DO IF IT DOSENT READ THE NEW MUSIC FILES:
-put the files in music folder
-then turn psp compleetly of hold the power button for 10 seconds to do so then reboot and it wil detect the new files

well he has ofw, so if ur gonna use tht plugin ^ u gotta hav cfw first, heres a guide to getting cfw: http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-har...ery-guide.html

if u dont feel like doing all this just so u can listen 2 mp3's during games, u could just listen 2 an mp3/ipod while ur playing ur game...

its not really sacrifice because you can use the pandora as a mian battery still. all u hav to do is upgrade to 3.90m33 and download time machine. then write somthing to ms boot sector. i do it all the time. my slim is my pandora and i like the feel.
