10-12-2008, 05:37 AM so I followed all the internet instructions and got irshell working on my psp slim
but whenever I try to lunch an iso/cso backup the whole system just crashes and shuts off. These are the same iso that works fine via the sony XMB
any help would be appreciated

It was abandoned and there will be no version for 4.01m33 unless somebody picks it back up and tinkers with it.
10-12-2008, 01:27 PM i wish there was, i installed it cfw3.71 on one of my psp's just to try it, and i really like the look of it, i really tried to get the nethost to work, but now i use mypspmenuR1 if i want to use nethost.

I guess I would need to downgrade to 3.9 in order for that to work?

but i cant get iso's to work on it.....i have 4.01m33-2, and whenever i try to launch an iso via nethost with mypspmenu, it freezes.....
homebrew works fine...
any ideas....
10-12-2008, 05:11 PM yes, install nethost.exe in the folder where your games are. also the dll file that came with it. start up nethost. it should say listening for psp, or something like that.
next in my pspmenur1, go to the last icon, you should see nethost ip. enter your ip addy of your pc there.click save
goto the memory card(second icon from last) PRESS up, highlight wifi and click x, give it a few seconds, should work.
also , i think you might need the type b drivers for the psp, thats what i have
lmk if you need more help
tomversa.. some games seem to freeze also on mine, like the really big ones, have you tried some smaller files?sometimes i think its frozen when its actually d/ling the game over wifi.

10-12-2008, 07:26 PM Ok so quick question on the pspmenur1 and nervOS. Would this act like the snes netplay function? For example would you be able to go multiplayer adhoc on psx games? Or is this app for something totally different? Psp not on me at the moment so can't test it for myself.
10-12-2008, 08:35 PM thanks guys ok so I think I had everything set up correctly, got nethostfs.exe in the same folder as cygwin1.dll, configured my pc's ip in the pspmenur1 config settings.
so I launched nethostfs.exe on my pc (vista) via cmd now it's in the listening for incoming connections and on pspmenur1 I went to wifi->nethost0
but nothing shows up under nethost0:/
also in the nethostfs cmd window, am I suppose to see anything that says connected?
but all this is a moot point if tomaversa's correct in saying that iso don't work over wifi
