Is there a media player for the PSP so I can watch a movie on it without having to wait 2-5 hours to convert it using PSP Video 9?

11-02-2008, 01:01 AM Apparently there is no way to get the PSP to read any other format than MP4. So no. I think I recall there being a homebrew application that can view stuff right off your computer, without moving the files onto your PSP, and it could read a few other codecs. I've never tried it though, so I can't vouch for it.

there was this other.. psplayer or something like that.. could read .avi but its only for 1.5.. if youre on slim youll have to use time machine

superpsptube.. not sure if its firmware specific..
