Now, I'm no PSP developer, but I've been thinking constantly about playing PS3 games on PSP. Would it be possible to play PS3 games on PSP???!!! Now, before you go saying that I'm a dumb retard (which I am when it comes to PSP developing) read what I'm thinking:

It may be possible to play PS3 games on PSP by tricking the Remote Play function into thinking that it's WiFi is connected to the PS3, but at the same time, you would'nt be in Remote Play mode, but launching the PS3 ISO straight from the PSP. However when playing, the WiFi light will always be on, ignoring the fact that it's not transmitting any radio waves. The controls will be played as if it were in Remote Play mode.....
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Perhaps a PS3 ISO launcher for PSP....?

if you can pull that off more power to ya.but question is can the psp handle it?and even so,over half ps3 games use sections of the game for motion functionality.there is a coded device you can buy technically to get motion, but i think its only programmed for one homebrew game.

I doubt highly that the psp even has the processing power just to run the game.
If it was for ps2 games i'd say it's possible. ps3, no.

But if it ever happens that would be real innovation there.
    You fail at failing.

This type of rubbish makes me sad.

You can NEVER even emulate PS2. EVER. NO WAY. NO HOW. If there ever is a PS2 emu that works over 30% speed. I will break my PSP LIVE on webcam, followed by my own legs

I don't think it'd be possible for ps2 emulation because the psp and ps2 are two entirely different codec engines *use entirely different codec engines*

What, and you think the PSP and PS3 run on similar hardware? Not even close, i can't be bothered to look it up but the PS3 is FAR more powerful than PSP.

Not to be offensive, but you really should actually look up some facts, and see why it is simply not possible.
