Heh bro, FFIX is the best. (:
Anyways, you've entered a new realm of *Awesome*.

So, just to start off, you don't need to install any emulators to run PSX games. However, if you'd like to improve EBOOT (PSX games) compatibility, download Popsloader and follow instructions (there usually are).

To get EBOOTs, you can find them on any torrent site, but if you're not a pirate (LOL), you'll need to do it manually. Trust me, pirating is so much easier.

But if you'd like to emulate different games like SNES or GBA, you need to download emulators for those. For SNES, I'd download SNES9xtyl and for GBA, I'd get gpSP mod.

If you have any questions, Google is your friend.
Google "SNES on PSP" or "GBA on PSP" or "PSX on PSP" or "torrent site" or whatever. xDD

    Have fun dude!

Hey l33tony, i checked out your tutorial and downloaded popsloader.
do i put the seplugins folder just directly onto the psp, as in with the PSP, MUSIC, ISO folders?
    Or into the MP_ROOT folder?

Also (again sorry for being a complete newb at this) how do you enable it, how do i get to the recovery menu?

Thanks for all of your help!

    Holy shit, man.
Yeah, I'll admit that pirating is illegal and hurts companies and whatnot, but as a kid, I don't have a job and ain't that rich. What's an anti-piracy commission gonna do? Catch millions of pirates and spank them while waving their fingers?

I realize that pirating is bad, but look at this: if someone modded their PSP, do you HONESTLY think they'll ONLY use it for homebrew and emus? Some do, some do, but many just say it without admitting it.

Downloading any sort of official software for free that's meant to be paid for is pirating. You download any PSX games without owning the real thing? Hello, pirate. (:
