k i'm new here, but i found something really interesting about homebrew on 2.7.

first off i found a gba emulator and then i got the locoroco demo.
i then unpacked them and took the locoroco PARAM.SFO and modified 2 thing.

    TITLE: changed it to GBA
DISC_ID: changed this to what i wanted.

i then took all the gba files except for the PARAM.SFO and popped them into a PBP file along with the modded
    PARAM.SFO.
After this i put the EBOOT.PBP into then a folder with the same name as DISC_ID and put it inside a games folder
    on the psp.
    i then booted it.
i managed to get the PSP boot screen but after about 10 sec it went back to the menu and said: Game could not be
    loaded.

I have no idea why but i thought this was an interesting find. also i'm not sure if this has been tried yet but i thought
    i'd post this anyways.

Nice try, pretty cool. But does the "game could not be started" screen mean that Sony has blocked ALL homebrew not recognized? I mean i think it is another sign that you can't run homebrew of any kind, even with sony releasing its PSP demos and PS1 emu and games. Oh well. Correct me if wrong.
THIS thing is CRAZY! Hope it don't get stuck!

That is because the way the PS1 files are formatted are not the same as our homebrew files...I think
Once the PS1 emus are out, we may find a way to hack the PSP into thinkin a homebrew file is a PS1 emu file. Not confirming.
