Need help getting Nesterj working properly.

I spent hours searching and experimenting and I just can't figure it out so I'm sorry if this has been answered a million times.

I've got a Phat 5.5 Gen-D3 and I downloaded NesterJ 1.20alpha. I placed the NesterJ and NesterJ% folders in my game and game150 folders to no avail. I either get corrupted data or "the game could not be started 8002014C".

I have successfully gotten NesterJ 1.11 working although some games freeze my PSP so I'd like to try and get 1.20 working.

that's the wrong one...we need 3xx kernel based emulators, not 1.5 like the one you used...

PSP NES Emulator: NesterJ 1.12 Plus 0.61 RM, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks

D3 doesn't support 1.5 files...use anything that was made for slims and 3xx kernels

Thanks very much goku, I just installed NesterJ 1.12 and so far its working great.

Any chance you know of a threadtutorial containing what firmware is compatible with what kernels and stuff like that?

no but i could just tell you...1.5 kernels were only supported as high as 5.02gen

but pretty much 1.5 apps are dead, you just get the latest release versions for pretty much all of them...any apps you think of or not sure, just ask.

Make sure you have the 1.50 kernal installed on your firmware. Not sure if this helps, but, I tried
