so does that mean no more devhook![]()
more importantly does this mean, will sony go after the whole Homebrew community later?
I don't know if homeberew games are bad...but emulators would be the next target proably.Originally Posted by sliver

shit that sucks, does that mean we will not be able to talk about dev-hook on this site, well then before we cant, can some show me how to make it myself.....cause theres gonna be more firmware verions out there and i dont wanna be stuck with 2.71
why now? why not a long ass time ago?
ps3.
simple economics.
games dont sell because you can get them on iso by being on 1.5
it's against their business model.
and i think the only reason that sony had any legal case against them is the bit in the back of the manual that says that youre not allowed to reverse engeneer any of the software or hardware.
saying that, i'd expect the modchip to be next.
so basically we are victimes to sonys high prices and updates?
so mods, will that be added to the list of bad things to talk about? People download it off other sites while you can!
FUCK! Damnit that really blows! OMG i can't beleive im saying this, but i feel bad for the 1.5'ers out there. AND THE DEV HOOK GUYS! This is terribleHopefully Sony couldn't get any money or fine the makers, cause if they couldn't then we could just constantly have people make devhooks. Or the devhook makers could hide from Sony the program, and have somebody else publish it. And im just about to hopefully get my 1.5 PSP
EDIT:
I have to disagree. Sony never pressed charges on modchips for the PS2 or PS1 (if there were any).Originally Posted by BLACKOUT

Why? Most if not all the smart ones have it by now. Whats the big deal, were emulating 2.71 and no umds have been released so it is a must to upgrade to 2.71. So were safe for a while. No big deal.Originally Posted by PSPBETTERTHANDS
yeah but a while doesn't hold over after the big 3.0 update
Very sad day for homebrew
buy then we will have another program to emulate 3.00, just watch.Originally Posted by PSPBETTERTHANDS
