ISO folder at the root of the memory stick.

So I have a couple backups of PSP games that are .cso files. And I was wondering what I need to do to play them, simply dropping the folder into my GAME directory doesn't seem to work. I'm guessing I need some kind of conversion program like I use for PSX games, but I really don't know.
Edit: Oh yeah my firmware is 6.38-ME 2
ISO folder at the root of the memory stick.
.cso is just a compressed .iso so you have to treat it the way you treat .iso's.
Your .iso/.cso don't go into your PSP>Game folder. Your game folder is for your homebrews and emulators. As the previous post said, make a new folder in the root of your psp's memory stick called ISO. And drag and drop your .cso and .iso in there.

Thanks a lot I got the game up and running. But now I have a new problem lol. The game's sound is kinda screwed up. Cutscenes have sound, and in game dialogue is fine, but there is no in-game music. And, occasionally I get static sounds. Is that a problem with how the game was ripped? Or did I not do something right?
It's not a good idea to compress too deep. You might face such consequences like you described. Do you have the same problem if you use the .iso (if you still have it available)?
