Advice Please

Its been a while since I've been here but a friend of mine just gave me a PSP and I want to install custom firmware. its a PSP 2001 and its on OFW 6.00

If anybody could point me in the right direction Id really appreciate it. its been a while and alot of things have changed lol. Thank you in advance

Follow these STEP BY STEP! You can't go wrong.
Step 1: Update to firmware 6.60. (See Step 3 if you need to know where to put it.)
Step 2: Download 6.60 PRO-B10
Step 3: Place "Recovery" and "Pro" folder in your psp memory stick in the GAME folder.
Step 4: Run Pro Installer on your psp under the Game section.
Step 5: Press X, X, Then Let it Reboot.
Step 6: Remove "Update" folder from the memory stick. (This is never needed again. Keep the other two files there.)
Congrats you have lcfw.

well it worked great but now everytime I try to install an emulator I get "This game cannot be starte. The data is corrupted" this is an emulator not games. any idea.
