need help with my psp 2000

hey guys, i have a psp 2000 and been out of the loop for a while(a few years) and have really no idea what im doing. the firmware is 5.50 gen-b. how do i get the newest hack for the latest games. can anyone help me. a step by step would be great. thanks

since you're using Gen cfw, You have to do the gen bypass in order to upgrade to latest, because your cfw will keep telling your psp that it has the latest firmware loaded. FaustNero: Guides

then you can now update via system udpate to 6.60 then grabe a cfw. you can also grabe from the blogsite.
