PSP-1001 on 6.60 ME-1.8 In need of help

Okay, if you haven't read already on the thread title, i am currently on 6.60 ME-1.8 with a PSP-1001. I have been tryin so much to get 1.5 kernel based games and homebrew to work while being able to play 6.xx games. I have leda in the right folder under seplugins and have pressed select and under plugin manager have leda enabled. When i try to run the 1.5 kernel based games and homebrew, no luck, just gives me the error 80020148 The game could not be started. Any suggestions? I even have reinstalled the firmware and have downloaded from different sources all my homebrew and games for 1.5 kernel and still says the same thing.... Please help! Thanx!

Did you add the path in the game.txt document??........ms0:/seplugins/leda.prx 1

yeah i created the GAME.txt file inside the seplugins folder with the path typed to the leda.prx plugin, but no luck. I have checked over my work making sure it is all accurate, but i dont know what is wrong.

actually, i have one more slash after ms0:/, it looks like this "ms0://seplugins/leda.prx 1" without quotes. Could the extra slash be it? i saw your only has 1 slash.

WOW i just took the extra slash off cause a tutorial i found showed 2 slashes after ms0: and i used only 1 and it worked... Thank you for showing me the correct way to place the path for the plugin :P i am happy now thanx!!

Thanx!! I got rid of my old PSP and 5 years later i forgot how fun it was and now there is better CFW and i just bought a new/used psp and its awesome. Happy new years!

i have a question, my firmware is 6.60 me-1.8 and some games can be played at othrs cannot? it says the game could not be started. (80020148) while others are stuck on black screen..

if its an older game like 1.5 kernel based, then enabling leda.prx will do the trick or by placing the game in the GAME150 folder. Try pressing select and going to iso umd mode and switching it to M33 driver if you run iso.

how can i know if it is a 1.5 kernel based? sorry i really dont know much about psp.

well.....i am actually new to this kind of stuff... I am not entirely sure. I just know the basics, maybe someone can reply to this and help ya out with this :/ maybe there is a list somewhere on internet or here that can list the games and the required firmware. Sorry i am not much help... :/

now im back because my kid is starting to play it ...

where do i install the e leda.prx where do i create the folder ?

yes, if there's no directory... then you make one. if there is a directory... use it.

leda.prx is a plugin which is included in the .RAR of LME/ME cfw, you place it in MS:/seplugins/ (where MS would be your memory stick) and assign it to game.txt in the same directory by adding a line:
ms0:/seplugins/leda.prx 1

^^^^even though that's exactly what was mentioned in this thread.
