just use devhook to use the 2.71 browser on youre 1.5..all the homebrew browsers suck.

11-16-2006, 04:48 PM I'm looking for a browser for firmware 1.5. I can't seem to find anything besides Pimpstreamer, I assume this is for video streaming over WiFi. Are there any homebrew browsers out? I've been trying to check the homebrew database at noobz.eu but the server seems to be having problems.

I read the tutorial on DevHook, it says to download the 2.5 update but I see elsewhere some people are using 2.71 fw. Can I use 2.71 with Devhook?
11-16-2006, 06:19 PM Yes, you need devhook 0.46 though. The sticky is for an older version (0.42 i think). There is an auto installer that you can use and it will do everything for you. No need to get the update for 2.71 or anything, just run the installer and you are set. There is a link in several members' sigs (psp's sig for sure). You can also find it yourself at www.psp-hacks.com (just go to the download section and look for a devhook 0.46 easy installer).
