Thanks anyways |
Found these solutions online
Hopefully one of them will work...........
1)
Did you put your psx game in the game150 or game folder? Because I remeber I had a problem running psx games but it was only because I put it in the wrong folder. If its in the game150 put it in the game folder.
2)
If you have 3.03 and you get an Error 80000004 while trying to play PSX games on you PSP then make sure you have applied the OE-B Patch. Even if you think you are running OE-B find and apply the patch anyways it should fix everything )
3)
the error has something to do with the savedata memcard1.dat and memcard2.dat. swapping one of these files with one from another save directory (like swapping memcards on a real ps1) causes this error.
Unfortunately I havenââ‚ƚ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t a clue how to go about making a utility program
to do this, so hereâ₠¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s how to do it with a hex editor.
4 offsets need to be altered with a hex editor after you create the
eboot.pbp with popstation. Using Castlevania SOTN as an example:
offset | default value | change to
†â€?ââ ‚¬â€?à ƒÆ’¢â‚¬Ã ƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…“+à¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã¢ââ₠¬Å¡Ã‚¬?ââ‚à ƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬?â ۉâ ¡Ã‚¬?ââ‚Ã⠀šÃ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬?âà ƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã¢â‚à ‚¬?ââ‚ ¬Ã¢â‚¬?-+â₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â‚¬?âà¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…¡Ã‚¬Ã¢â‚¬?à ƒÆ’ƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬à ƒÆ’¢â‚¬?ââà ƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…¡Ã‚¬Ã¢â‚¬?ÃƒÆ ’Ã†â€™Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â¢ÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…Â¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â¬ÃƒÆ ’¢â‚¬?ââà¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…¡Ã‚¬Ã¢â‚¬?-
00130 | SCUS94476 | SCUS00067
00358 | Hot Shots Golf 2 | Castlevania SOTN
50400 | _SCUS_94476 | _SCUS_00067
5122c | Hot Shots Golf 2 | Castlevania SOTN
(use hex value 00 to clear out remaining character spaces after game
name)
Thatâ₠¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s all it takes, when you copy the game to your PSP, if you press
triangle and look at the game information itâ₠¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢ll say whatever game name
you entered at 00358 instead of Hot Shots Golf 2. When you load the game
itâ₠¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢ll make a save directory named SCUS_whatever-number-you-entered (for
best results, use the correct disc number). When you look at the save
data in the XMB itâ₠¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢ll be named whatever you entered at 5122c instead of
Hot Shots Golf 2.
If this is done for each game converted, there will be no issues with
gamesaves overwriting each other, as each game will have itâ₠¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢s own save
folder.
If you do a search for 94476, youââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢ll also come across the following
string:
UP9000-NPUI94476_00
Do -NOT- change this string or youââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢ll get error 80020148 when you try
to load the game.
4)
Heres what you do. Get DA's latest firmware 3.03 OE-B. Here (
http://dl.qj.net/dl.php?fid=12202)
Then Convert you legally owned PSX aka PS1 games via your favorite flavored image/iso/bin/cue ripper. I used ISO Buster.
This is the important Step So Pay attention...
EXTRACT IT AS A .BIN
NOT AS A .ISO
ISO DOESNT WORK FOR RIPPED/EXTRACTED PSX aka PS1 games.
Then make it into a EBOOT.PBP with the KEY.BIN
(If you need instructions I will do my best to write them out later on in this thread. I need you to request it first. Here is a good attempt of how to. (

I prefer to use a GUI interface bc I loathed DOS. I recommend you downloading This one right here. (
http://dl.qj.net/dl.php?fid=11982)
Make a folder (Mine was called SCUS94164) in the PSP/GAME folder
So it should look like this
PSP\GAME\SCUS94164\EBOOT.PBP and also KEYS.BIN
Be sure to set your kernal in 3.03 oe-b (not sure if it works in 1.5)
