i notice people are not posting what Region, the actual ISO's are from, like JP, America or Europe.
This could make a difference, which is why people may be experiencing failures while others are succussfully playing the same game.

i know the region may matter in the playability of the iso, but we are talking iso's you ripped yourself. and im sure most posters here are american, and they should know if they get their game in europe or japan
and if they dont they obviously are pirating iso's |

E.G. for some reason i cant get my japanese copy of FF7 to work, yet my Euro version works fine.
And im sorry but anyone who softmods thier psp in the firstplace obviously has intent to piracy, i dont know anyone who doesnt.

Parasite Eve 2 works now. You will need to change the Game ID to SPLS-00025 (Battle Arena Toshinden [NTSC-J]).
You will experience flickering in FMV on 3.40oe-a. Only solution I found to bypass this was to use popsloader 3.10 pops, when I didn't want to downgrade my 3.40oe-a.
Some cut scenes can be terribly slow to the point where the game hangs. But you can just click start to skip the cut scenes. If anyone who finds a solution to this would be appreciated. |

Resident Evil 2 works with the fix outlined here: http://www.pspmod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18458 (Choose Me A Game)
I can confirm it, I played all the way through Leon A. This means the other three scenarios SHOULD work fine, they all basically work the same way.

Apocolypse - Works
Gran Turismo - Works
Gran Turismo 2 - Works
Metal Gear Solid - Works
Need For Speed 3 - Works but in-game music seems to be displaced by a repetetive engine and/or tire squall noise. I just simply disabled the music. Don't know if it was my rip or what.
Need For Speed 4 - Works
Parappa the Rapper - Works
WCW Vs. the World - Works
Army Men 3D - Works
Road Rash 3D - Works
Syphon Filter 1 and 3 - Works
Tomb Raider 1 - Works
Interactive CD Sampler Pack Vol.05 [Demo] - Works
Power Rangers - Time Force - Works but has a few graphic artifacts
Megaman X6 (Rip) - Works (Don't worry, I own the game but I'm strapped for space on the mc, so I'd assume my full disc also works.)
Gex - Works
Bomberman World - Works
Arkanoid - Works
Castlevania - SOTN - Works
WWF Smackdown 2 - Works
WWF Warzone - Works
Fisherman's Bait - Works
Activision Classic Games - Works with ID set to SLPS 01222
Legacy Of Kain - Soul Reaver - Works
Blasto - Works
Frogger - Works
All these are US version and I just played them each for no longer than 10 minutes to test them out as I'm in the process now of converting my PSX cd's so I can't say if each will work all the way through. Nor can I say if they have glitches on levels I haven't gotten to. The only one I've converted to PSP so far that doesn't work is Lode Runner. Any ideas? All in all, my games are a lot more compatible than I thought. 25 out of 26 ain't bad. With any luck, maybe I can get 26. Who knows, maybe it needs another disc ID. |

Woot just got my copy of Front Mission 3 working SLUS-01011 (NTSC)
Plays good so far, noticed a tiny bit of lag in the music now and again but really nothing to complain about this game is shiny
EDIT:On the first mission with Emma or any other mission afterwards my game started locking up every 10 mins or so, the first time it locked up i was able to reboot the PSP and carry on, however the next time it locked up it totally crashed my psp, i had to remove the battery.
My original disc is mint condition so i can only assume its bad compression, or an incompatability.

Can someone please be kind to test Adventures of LOMAX? This is a small game (compressed 25mb) so it shouldn`t be too much time consuming to try it out. I would really appreciate this. I want to know if it can run full speed.
Does anyone know if Moto racer works? The first one.
EDIT:I found on the last link posted here that Moto racer works. |

Star Ocean 2 Works on 3.40 oe-a
But Brave Fencer Musashi freezes and goes back to the XMB when I enter any building in town...and the buildings are quiet important. |

Harvest Moon: Back to Nature does work!
Game ID: 01115
The intro game screen and text input do lag a bit but the rest of the game plays seamlessly.
I used PSX2PSP V1.2 to make my EBOOT for those who are wondering.
PS; would it be possible to include the game IDs next (or below) to the compatible games? It could make things a bit easier than going through the pages to find the correct ID. |
